Open to the public all the year round, the park of the Vizille territory offers a privileged
setting to rest and to discover. 100 acres of greenness are stretching in front of the castle.
Punctuated by a magnificent lake and its numerous canals, the territory offers many strolling
possibilities. The visitors can walk freely on the lawns which border the canal, go all the way
to the forest which is sprinkled by cavaliers alleys and smell the multiple plants scents, before
discovering the rose garden and the French bed flowers which are next to the castle. The
animal park hosts numerous species evolving freely in the domain: swans, gooses, grey
herons, stags, fallow deer, and roe deer.
